ONE MINUTE – EVERY DAY – PRAY
“This year, this minute – pray for lost young people”
Pray that their life be transformed by the Gospel.
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Or maybe –
Pray for God to seek to win them over.
He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9) and would have all men to be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).
an exercise in hope
“While I breathe, I hope”
Transformational peace is a Person and you cannot attain this without Him. His name is Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. He is God, one with the Father, and as the Prince of Peace, he is the Giver of peace in the heart and conscience.
“The secret to peace is, as great apprentices of Jesus have long known, being abandoned to God. The person who is heartily abandoned to God knows that all shall be well because God is in charge of his or her life. My peace is the greatness of God.” -Dallas Willard
I love this. It reminds me that “all shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.”
I love this too. And God’s peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 NCV
All is well for He is well and will endue us with peace. Ask.
FOCUSED PRAYER FOR LEADERSHIP
The Word of God is the revealed WILL of GOD. When we give a voice to the WORD of GOD in prayer, we release the WILL of GOD to be accomplished. Ann Framer
Give voice to the Word of God in prayer for the well-being of our leaders:
Deliberate (marked by careful consideration)
“Here lies a man who knew how to enlist the service of better men than himself.” Andrew Carnegie’s Tombstone
Meditate (to reflect on)
And when they had appointed and ordained elders for them in each church with prayer and fasting, they committed them to the Lord in Whom they had come to believe [being full of joyful trust that He is the Christ, the Messiah].
Acts 14:23 AMP
Supplicate (To make a humble entreaty to; beseech God)

We declare -
• That our leaders establish saints as well as to awaken sinners;
• That our leaders be found setting apart those who are fit to do the work of the ministry;
• That our leaders commend them to the Lord “putting them under the protection and guidance of His grace;
• That our leaders oversee them still, instructing and admonishing them still.
We ask -
Lord, give us leaders that would be known by their “pious resolutions, in the strength of Christ, to adhere to Christ whatever it may cost them” and commending others to do the same such that it would be to Your glory.
MATTERS FOR PRAYER
From the YFC Office
Please pray for our beloved country Ukraine. We are having a severe political crisis. The good thing is that almost all churches have united in prayer and support of the government’s protestors. Even Orthodox and protestant churches have become strong allies and that is the first time in history! One of the new laws passed by our presidential government is that all NGOs with foreign contacts are considered spies. It means the existence of YFC in Ukraine is in big danger and the freedom of its workers is in God’s hands.
• For the search for God and the spiritual awakening of the Ukrainian people. That in these difficult circumstances, people turn to God and listen to His commands.
• For peace and harmony among all residents of Ukraine.
• For the future leadership of their country – to elect God-fearing officials at all levels, who will not reject God’s laws.
• For the representatives of the current transitional government, so that they are not driven by anything more than the wisdom and fear of God.
The situation remains very critical in this nation.
“The situation faced by churches doing evangelism remains very serious. The churches of many of the people I have been ministering to recently are meeting in homes in groups of two or three families rather than in a church service. Attacks continue. Pray that the believers would stand firm and grow and that God would deepen the church through this experience of persecution. Pray also for more commitment to upholding religious freedom from the authorities.” – A
